1 hour individual: $90

2 hour group: $55

Welcome! As a state-approved supervisor, I have over 20 years of experience as a social worker in various roles ranging from group worker, individual and family psychotherapist, clinical program director and nonprofit CEO.

 
I love supervision and consultation as it keeps me on my toes, and it allows me to be a witness to the growth of other clinicians!  I offer a safe, non-judgmental space for learning, offering validation and support while also challenging supervisees.  I have enjoyed working with clinicians who support both individuals and families across a wide variety of issues, including trauma, relationships, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. I utilize developmental and integrative models of supervision, engaging a variety of concepts, theories, and strategies while meeting the supervisee where they are in their professional development.  I provide support, guidance, professional modeling, critical feedback, appropriate learning opportunities, and accountability using a variety of techniques including homework, case consultation, and role playing.

My experience is that the most important ingredient for effective supervision is the relationship between supervisor and supervisee and, like the therapeutic relationship, unfolds with trust and honesty.  As I do myself, I encourage supervisees to allow themselves to be vulnerable and stretch themselves both in supervision and in their work with clients.  Supervision is a parallel process with our work with clients.  As clients practice courage, trust, and honesty in their exploration, so does the supervisee and supervisor.  

I would enjoy discussing with you your expectations for supervision and exploring our goodness of fit!  Facilitating the licensing process is one way that I continue to learn and also give back to a profession that I deeply respect and appreciate.
